The science of gait analysis, studying how people walk, has greatly improved since a 4000 year old piece of papyrus marked the first known observations of how someone walks. Thanks to advances in computer technology, video, and pioneers like Dr. Jacquelin Perry gait analysis testing is now available at an affordable price for patients in an office setting.

How does Dr. DeBrule use Advanced Gait Analysis?

Dr. DeBrule uses advanced gait analysis for assessing foot function and developing your personal treatment plan. Furthermore, this technology greatly assists with custom foot orthotic prescriptions for foot, ankle, knee, hip, and chronic low back pain. The DeBrule Movement Assessment Center features a 30 foot long walkway for running and walking studies. Patient feedback is enhanced with our large screen video monitor.

F-Scan® Computerized Walking Analysis

F-scan uses paper thin sensors placed in your shoe to measure abnormal pressure points, timing, and vertical forces. Easy to understand graphics (red for high pressure, blue for low pressure) help assess limb length differences, orthotic effectiveness, low back pain, surgical outcomes, and even high pressure areas for diabetic patients.

Pedi-Gait® Video Analysis

Pedi-Gait video gait analysis system captures movement patterns that can not be seen by the naked eye. A patient’s walking pattern is recorded from 4 views: two cameras from the side and two cameras from front to back.
